I am lazy and careless about most things. If something doesn’t have to be done, I don’t do it, and that habit of not bothering is deep in me. It is not an admirable character. Looking back now, it is regrettable and a little bitter to think how much I have missed because of it, but since I have never managed to fix it, I have come to accept it as my nature.
I have this indecisive character, but last year I actually thought quite a lot about how to overcome the laziness. My goal was to become a great developer, and I had dreams of my own I wanted to achieve as one. I was lazy, but I was serious about development, and I had enough pride to beat the laziness and get quite a lot done. As a result, I think I have become a fairly decent developer by now.
The problem is that I only ever touch the keyboard for code. I never wrote down what I went through, so a lot of it has faded from memory. I was lucky to have many experiences, and thanks to them I gained all kinds of knowledge at a younger age than most. But I neglected those valuable experiences, and in the end I repeated things I had already been through, several times over.
Somehow I ended up as a lead developer, in a position where I have to lead other developers. Now that I am supposed to be helping others, I thought it might be good to settle my laziness and become an early bird. So first of all, to overcome the laziness, I decided to start a blog.

The last time I wrote anything on a blog platform was February 2015. It is February 2021 now, so six years have already passed since I last wrote. Writing still feels very awkward, but this year I am promising myself to keep writing, without fail.
